ELSA, the European Law Students' Association is the worlds largest Law Students' Association. ELSA provides opportunities for law students, trainees and young lawyers to get involved and to educate oneself. International understanding, the training of socially capable lawyers, academic work and practical orientation are the key ideas of ELSA’s philosophy.
Through offering academic and practical activities including experience abroad, international communication, creating projects and Soft Skills, ELSA is a pioneer in academic education.
Through intensive exchange across Europe ELSA provides law students from all over Europe to get in touch and involved together. ELSA benefits from an European network consisting of 40.000 members at more than 250 universities in 41 countries.
ELSA Bonn is one of 42 local groups of ELSA Germany.
The group’s task is to organize trips, projects and activities in order to provide lots of exciting experience for our students in the context of law that exceed pure academic studies.
This experience in exercising law include guided tours through law firms, JVA field trips, job profile lectures and panel discussions. In addition, ELSA Bonn provides the opportunity of gaining experience abroad though Study Visits, Field Trips, and the European internship platform STEP. Furthermore, ELSA Bonn offers Workshops for the development of soft skills, including rhetorical training, training for applications and a practice for time management during law school.
