PROJECTS IN THE ELSA NETWORK
We try to offer an as wide as possible spectrum of different events to the students in Bonn. Many of them are already tested in long-term experience, some are results of our cooperations and others e.g. our trips are thought up individually every semester again.
Despite the variety of events some types can be picked out:
Lawyer´s office visits (here especially at our sponsors´office Redeker Sellner Dahs).
Lecture events: On the one hand the course of lectures "Federal authorities located in Bonn introduce themselves" (initiated by our advisory council member Mr. Prof. Schmoeckel); on the other hand the "job outline course of series" with jurists from our region (among other things also in cooperation with Redeker Sellner Dahs).
Detention centre trip (traditionally in the prison of Siegburg with an always good guided trip!)
Workshops to different legal fields that are not in the focus of the education of university (e.g. administrative law of the EU, health law or industrial law in the professional praxis) (in cooperation with our sponsors legal offices Busse & Miessen and Redeker Sellner Dahs).
Fairy tale Moot Court: A pretended trial which is based on a fairy tale and is edited with a more legal background by us. There is always (!) a great support of many advisory council members. The organizer isn´t liable for damages caused by violent fit of laughter.
Trips all around the world: Last time to Munich to the 69th DJT, German day of law (with financial and spiritual support of our advisory council member general secretary of the DJT Dr. Nadler and the legal office Busse & Miessen), before that we were in Strasbourg (European parliament, Council of Europe, European Court of Human Rights) or Luxembourg (European Court of Justice).
Ad hoc panel discussions with our academic partner the "Bonner Juristischem Forum" (legal audience of Bonn) (often to the latest topics, e.g. in the past to preventive detention or the president of federal state debate).
